How does the firm charge fees?
down arrow
The firm's fees are set by a mutual agreement between the lawyer and the client. The amount depends on the nature, the difficulty of the case, the legal issues at stake, the extent of the lawyer's expertise, the amount of time that will be spent working on the case, the importance of the interests at stake and the specific legal situation of the client.

During an initial discussion with the firm's lawyers, the methods for determining the fees will be clearly discussed and agreed with you before any work is carried out by the lawyer.

The agreement on fees will then be formalized in a retainer agreement signed by the client and the firm which will specify the amount of the fees and the foreseeable diligence as well as the various additional expenses that may be incurred as a result of the work on the case.
